All about Keswick Bikes

Keswick Bikes (a.k.a. K.M.B) was born back in the heady summer of '92 by Amos Doron and Andy Prestwich who still head up the business today. We have 3 specialist Lake District locations (all in Keswick) with a massive bike brand portfolio including: Commencal, Kona, Specialized, Merida, Giant & Trek and also custom build options from Nicolai, Foes, Yeti, Merlin, Cove, Cotic, Pace & Cervelo.

We offer expert, impartial advice and make sure our customers get exactly the right bike for their kind of riding. We know how important it is to get it right ..!

As bike nuts ourselves we make full use of our own experience of what works - as well and where to use it - and we love passing on this information, and our enthusiasm, to our customers.

Keswick is a truly brilliant place for both mountain AND road bikers - we're a broad church here at Keswick Bikes. We're surrounded by awesome riding and which is the reason that brought, and keeps, us all here.

We like to put something back and another good reason to support an Independent Bike Shop like us is that we donate a percentage of our profits to 'Fix the Fells' keyed into local Bridleway repairs as well as supporting our local race team - Team KeswickBikes.co.uk

If you ever need route advice for riding in the Lake District just drop in to Otley Road and speak to any of our staff because if there's a Lakeland trail you want to ride it's likely they've already ridden it ..!

Given the great local natural riding all around us and the Altura Trail at Whinlatter we have a demo (and hire) fleet so that you can try your next bike in real World conditions before you buy.

Our Shimano Service Centre accredited Workshops (located at Southey Hill in Keswick) is also an accredited Hayes Super Centre, Magura Passion Point and Marzocchi Service Centre. So whether you are visiting Weekend Warrior, a Downhill Demon, a Coast to Coaster, a Roadie Pass Basher or an Avid Local, whatever your servicing needs are Keswick Bikes will keep you rolling.

Group rides leave from outside the Lakeland Pedlar every Tuesday evening @ 6.30pm all year round and the KGB (Keswick Girlie Bikers) ride out on Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm also leaving from outside the Lakeland Pedlar.
